XOXO October Blog Hop

{Wow! My first page and post after 3 months being up in Japan is actually a hop post.}

Welcome to the XOXO October Blog Hop!

If you came from Faye's blog you're on the right track. Otherwise, head on to the XOXO blog to start hopping!

Faye challenged me to be inspired by Bruno Mars' "The Lazy Song".

I guess the song title pretty much gives it away so here's my take:
Lazy Day
Suffered from scrapper's block while doing this one. I guess that's to be expected following the 3 month hiatus. Struggled quite a bit on getting this done as I'd forgotten which envelope contained what pps, where my trusty Liquid Pearls was, etc. Maybe I should leave myself a note the next time I'd have to be gone so I don't forget where my supplies are. LOL. And as you can see not so much embellishing on this page even though I struggled for a couple of hours trying to stick more layers into it. I owe it to that lovely SS Mix and Mend pp to have made me pull off a less-is-more kind of page.

Anyone who completes the blog hop will stand a chance to Guest Design for True XoXo for December. Completing the blog hop means commenting on every single Lipstick Chick's blog and True XoXo's. Added bonus!: for any layout/project you complete that is based on a team member's challenge or layout, another chance will be thrown into the hat; be sure to post a link to your interpretation on True XoXo's blog hop post (not necessarily the team member's post).

To commemorate my first after-hiatus layout, there will also be a surprise RAK from me for a follower who leaves a comment on this post or scraplifts me (add another comment on this post with a link to your lift). That's 2 chances of winning the RAK :)

Now, off you go to Khristen's blog.

Great way to jump right into things after a long time away from the scrap table. LOVE the choices you made with the altered doilies and the liquid pearl border.

I like the simplicity of it - you don't need anything else on it.

Hiya!
This was such a good challenge - and your layout is brilliant! I love the little cocktail glass. Just over one month ago I was drinking cocktails by the swimming pool on honeymoon - being TOTALLY lazy!
